The Radio Mobile is a software tool that has been created so as to allow users to predict the performance of a radio. The Radio Mobile system is capable of making use of any digital terrain elevation data to help calculate the path profile between a receiver and an emitter. It uses automatic extraction of the data which is then added to various environmental, statistical and other system parameters to create compilation data for feeding into the Irregular Terrain Model radio propagation model. By using the radio mobile, one is also able to produce virtual maps in the background using the elevation data.
